Junior Lumberjacks Travel Hockey Tryouts Announced!

This is the third year of the Junior Lumberjacks Hockey Association, and we are pleased to introduce Travel Hockey. Young hockey players will now be able to refine their skills at a higher level of hockey than previously offered. Coupled with our high-level coaching curriculum being instituted by Muskegon Lumberjacks Assistant Coach Rich McKenna and a top notch training facility, we believe every player involved in the Junoir Lumberjacks program will reach their potential.

Since this is the inaugural year for travel hockey with the Junior Lumberjacks, Major (AA) and Minor (A) teams will be decided based on number and quality of players available. The Junior Lumberjacks will be participating in either Lidstrom or Howe  Travel Divisions as a part of the Little Caesars Hockey League. Our placement will be determined by the Little Caesars League recommendation.

Travel Tryouts Teams ($20 per player):

• Bantam A Tryouts - May 20th: 6:00-7:00pm & May 21st: 6:40-7:40pm. (Birthyear '01)
• Pee Wee AA or A Tryouts - May 21st: 5:30-6:30pm & May 22nd: 6:40-7:40pm. (Birthyear '02 & '03)
• Squirt AA Tryouts - May 22nd: 5:30-6:30pm & May 23rd: 5:30-6:30pm. (Birthyear '04)

2014-15 Junior Lumberjacks Season Includes:

• Practice for 26 weeks, estimated 2.5 hrs/week
• Estimated 17 home games at LC Walker Arena
• Jersey's, Socks, Warm-ups
• Estimated 3 Tournaments
• Little Caesars Lidstrom or Howe Divisions
• Player is a part of the Muskegon Lumberjacks organization and is awarded a membership card which can be redeemed for two tickets to any Muskegon Lumberjacks home games.
