Today’s Jr. Jacks spotlight is on Jordan Benkert. Jordan plays for the Squirt B - VanDyke team. On the season, Jordan has helped his Jr. Jacks team build an 8-5 record with a semi-finals appearance at the 2017 Battle at the Bridge Squirt Championship in St. Ignace. Jordan is a first-year squirt and supports his team with non-stop energy on and off the ice. He has tallied 25 goals and 10 assists in his 13 games this season and earned an MVP honor at the Battle at the Bridge. Most notably, Jordan recently tallied an assist on Aylah Ronfeldt’s first ever goal, and he can’t wait to help fill the scoresheet with new players.

Off the ice, Jordan is a Reeths Puffer Rocket, and enjoys baseball, football, reading, and his younger brother. His favorite subject in school is social studies and his favorite hockey team is the Detroit Red Wings. Some of Jordan’s favorite things to do are having pizza night with his family and playing games.
